YEAR 5 - HEADTEACHERS AWARD
Below is a letter for Year 5 parents regarding the Headteachers awards
YEAR 5 DT DAY - WEDNESDAY 11TH OCTOBER
We have a DT day on Wednesday 11th October. Please let class reps know if you are available to help for a period of time on that day for your class. (break time 11:00-11:15 and lunch time 12:45-1:45pm not needed) DBS will be needed.
Year 5 have started designing their shelter. They have made their prototype out of craft straws. They need to collect materials from home that they will need to build their shelter on DT day e.g. cereal box card, cotton wool, wooden lolly sticks, foil, straw, plus other things that you might have at home.
Please collect items in a named bag and bring in on Monday 9th October. Please let your class teacher know if you need help collecting materials.
In school we will provide wood to build the frame, masking tape, glue guns, saws.
