GEOGRAPHY FIELD TRIP - LOCAL VISIT - THURSDAY 20TH JUNE.

Dear Year 5 Parents and Carers,

As part of our learning this half term, we are arranging a local visit to Reigate Priory Park on Thursday 20th June.

Supporting the curriculum

This trip supports our Geography learning within our topic of ‘Living in the Wild’. We will be completing fieldwork in Priory Park, working in groups to observe, record and collect results on physical and human features. 

Information for the day

We will be leaving for our walk at 9:30am and returning to school by 12:15pm. We will be back at school for lunch.

The children should come to school wearing PE kit with trainers as usual with:

• A waterproof coat/ suncream applied and sunhat if appropriate
• A water bottle
• A snack

Parent help

We would be grateful for the help of 4 parent helpers (2 from each class) for the trip. Please speak to the class reps if you can offer help for the duration of the visit.
