MEDICAL AND DIETARY NEEDS FOR UFTON COURT - IMPORTANT

Dear parents and carers,

In planning for Ufton court, and going through all the personal details for each of the children, I can see that I have knowledge of the children’s medical or dietary needs from teaching them, but that some of these children's needs are not currently on Arbor, nor on the Google form for the trip.

It is vital that:

  • Arbor is up to date, please check your child's profile.
  • you have completed your child’s medical needs on the Google information form. If you are unsure whether you have completed all medical information on the original Google form, please CLICK HERE to submit this information.

For example, I know there are children for whom I have had an inhaler in class, needed to help them with asthma or provide eczema cream, but this is not stated on Arbor nor included on the form.

Eg. Does your child suffer from travel sickness, needs to sit near the front and will be provided with medicine to take for our return trip?

Without a form with specific instructions and medicine provided, I would be unable to provide your child with the care they need.

Some parents have mentioned that their child has an allergy, but not yet told me what would happen and what I would need to do if their child were to ingest the allergen.

If there are lots of surprises on the morning and new information for me to go through, it will delay our swift departure and arrival at Ufton court. This will hold up our schedule and enjoyment of the trip.

I’m sure you can appreciate that I need to  provide your child with the upmost care and safety and have oversight of different needs to support. It takes a considerable amount of planning and time to ensure a residential is a smooth enjoyable experience for the children so I need to have been provided with all the vital information from you in advance please.

Kind regards
