YEAR 6 SCREENING - HEIGHT AND WEIGHT

Each year in England, school children in Year 6 have their height and weight checked at school as part of the National Child Measurement Programme. Height and weight measurements are used to calculate weight status.

TOUCAN'S CLASS REP

Dear Toucan's parents,

Toucans class still do not have a class rep and the school would be very grateful if someone were to volunteer. There are several parents who have volunteered for this role a number of times over the years, so it is unfair to expect them to volunteer again. If you would like to volunteer, please do let the office and/or Miss Allen know.

The role of the Class Rep doesn't need to be onerous or time consuming, as we always expect class reps to sign post parents back to the weekly Friday communications email or school website.

Please be aware that if no one volunteers and Miss Allen/the office are asked questions where the information is already available, you will be referred back to the relevant comms/website where you can find the answer to your question, plus you may not always get an immediate response due to their workload.   

Your help in this matter is greatly appreciated.
