UNIVERSAL FREE SCHOOL MEALS

Dear parents and carers,

Universal Free School Meals for Year 2 are coming to an end at the end of this academic year. If you wish your child to continue having a school meal, you will have to pay for them at £2.90 a day.

Unless you inform school you are moving to packed lunches next academic year, the school will assume your child will continue having school meals and you are acknowledging you will pay the daily cost.

Please note the following:

• If you would like to change your child between school meals and packed lunch then please email your request to: info@reigate-parish.surrey.sch.uk with your request. 

• The school need 1 full week notice and changes will take effect from the following Monday. If you do not give the correct notice period, you will be charged for these days even if you send your child in with a packed lunch.

• Please do not email over the holidays and expect this change to be implemented on the first day back.

• Children are unable to select specific days they wish to have a packed lunch and specific days they wish to have a school dinner. Children have either one or the other.
