YEAR 4 MULTIPLICATION TIMESTABLE CHECK

Dear Year 4 parents and carers,

The Multiplication Timestable Check is a government check that all children in year 4 in England have to do. It is 25 questions answered on the computer and the results will be communicated to school in time for the score to go in your child’s annual report.

The children have all this year been busy at home and at school learning and practising their timestables and after the Check they will continue to learn and practise. As we are aware people being confident with their timestables is a good skill to have.

For the children in school yesterday they have done the check and for anyone not in school then they will do it when they return, in line with the administration guidance issued from the government. The children have had time to practice the Multiplication Timestable Check on the school laptops before May half term and so when they did it today, they were unphased by answering the questions and all did their best.
