PE CHANGE OF DATE FOR W/C 9TH AND 16TH JUNE
Dear Parents/Carers,
We are fortunate to have an athletics teacher from Dunottar teach our Year 5 pupils for the next two weeks. Therefore our outdoor PE sessions will be on the following dates: Wednesday 11th June and Wednesday 18th June.
Pandas PE dates for weeks 2 and 3:
Wednesday (not Monday) and Thursday
Koalas PE dates for weeks 2 and 3:
Wednesday (Not Thursday) and Friday
PALACE FOR LIFE EQUAL EAGLES PROJECT FOR WEEK 7 (WEDNESDAY 16TH JULY)
Dear Parents/Carers,
Over the summer term, Year 5 pupils have been working with Palace for Life on a series of PSHE lessons looking at topics such as equality, inclusion, stereotypes and racism. This week the children have had their final session and produced a presentation/poster around one of these areas.
As part of the outreach experience, we have been invited to visit Crystal Palace Football Club's Selhurst Park Stadium and take part in a workshop and tour of the stadium. This trip will take place on Wednesday 16th July. We will send out separate communication giving more details including volunteer information and transportation.
LIFE SKILLS CAREERS DAY FOR WEEK 7 (THURSDAY 17TH JULY)
Dear Parents/Carers,
We will hold our Summer term Life Skills day on 17th July. It focuses on career opportunities and we would like to invite parents/carers to come to school to give a short presentation/talk about their job. Please see parent/carer email sent earlier in the week regarding letting class teachers know whether you would be able to help. A DBS would be needed.
