UPDATE INFORMATION ON FRIDAY TEACHER IN JAGUARS

Dear parents and carers,

Please see the below letter from Mrs Davis updating you about the teacher in Jaguars on a Friday.

EASTER SERVICE LED BY YEAR 4

Dear Parents and Carers of Year 4,

Every child is taking part in the Easter service, in some capacity next week.

We have been rehearsing this week so all children will know what their involvement is. It’s going to be a great service.

Please see below the requirements for costumes/clothing for Monday and Tuesday:

Narrators, service leaders, prayers/poem readers - please wear school uniform to school on both Monday (dress rehearsal in church) and Tuesday (performance in church).

Actors - please wear PE kit to school on Monday and Tuesday - PE kit will be the base layer to costumes and we have sourced and provided the costumes in for most children. They have them in their trays at school.

There are some exceptions we’d like you help with please:

If your child is a Guard, please can they wear their PE kit on both days and bring into school a named bag with a suitable costume that they wore to Roman Day or borrow one from a friend/sibling.

No expense spent please, do let us know you’re if stuck.

Tomb or stable - please can they wear their PE kit on both days and bring into school in a named bag some grey/brown or black plain clothing.

Crying women at the tomb - the girls preferred to source their own costume from home, such as a simple smock/dress/traditional Mary costume. Please can they wear their PE kit on both days and bring into school their costume in a named bag.

SHREK PRODUCTION @DUNOTTAR MARCH 27TH MARCH

Dear Year 4 Parents and Carers,

We have been invited to attend the production of Shrek at Dunottar on Thursday 27th March.

Information for the day:

We will be walking to Dunottar after having an early lunch.
The children will return to school at approximately 4.30pm. If this is going to be a problem, please let your teacher know so alternative arrangements can be made.
Thursdays are Gorillas PE day, but all the children in the year group can wear PE kits and trainers for the trip.

The children should come to school with:

A waterproof coat / sunhat, weather depending
A water bottle

Parent help

We would be grateful for the help of 4 parent helpers (2 from each class) for the trip. Please do speak to the class reps if you are able to offer help for the duration of the visit.

AN OPPORTUNITY FOR YOUR CHILD TO TAKE PART IN RESEARCH ON CHILDREN’S ONLINE SAFETY

Dear parents and carers,

We have been asked to help Ofcom with a survey called Helping to make the internet safer for children. If you are happy for your child to complete this survey (at school) please complete the opt-in form (linked within the letter).

The information will be used anonymously by Ofcom, and the school will be given £150 as a thank you. Year 4 children will be involved in deciding how this is spent.

JAGUARS ONLY - CHANGE IN DATES FOR PARENTS EVENING

Dear Jaguars parents,

Please note the dates for this terms Jaguars parents evening have changed to Monday 31st March and Tuesday 1st April (from Tuesday 1st and Wednesday 2nd April). The time slots will be 3.50 - 7.10pm).

This is for Jaguars class only and not the rest of the school.
