TOUCANS - HOCKEY WORKSHOP

Toucans Class are taking part in a Hockey Workshop in School on Wednesday 5th February. Therefore, your child will need to come into school wearing PE kit on Wednesday and Friday next week. Your child will not need to wear PE kit on Monday 3rd February.

VISITING ST BEDES TO WATCH THEIR PRODUCTION

Dear Year 6 Parents/Carers, January 2025

We are very excited to have been invited – unexpectedly at short notice - to watch St Bede’s students in a production of ‘Shrek’. This is an opportunity for children to experience a secondary school setting as part of their transition to Year 7.

The event will take place during the morning (seated by 9:10) of Wednesday 29th January, meaning the children will need to arrive at school at 8:15 for departure at 8:20. We will be registering in the Year 3 classrooms (Kestrels in Dolphins class and Toucans in Turtles class) and leaving promptly. The green gates will open for children to enter school early.

The children will walk to St. Bede’s with their class teachers and other accompanying staff. We would appreciate 2 parent volunteers per class (No DBS required) to accompany us. Please contact the class reps if you can help. You would be required from 8:15 until approximately 11:30, depending on the timings of the production.

The children need to wear their school uniform and have a coat. Please make sure your child has a water bottle. They will have their break time snack when they return to school.
