CELEBRATING OUR PUPILS: UPDATED PHOTOGRAPHY AND CONSENT POLICY

Dear Parents and Carers,

Following valuable feedback from our school community, we are delighted to announce an update to our policy regarding pupil photographs. We agree that celebrating our children’s amazing achievements is vital, and sharing these moments in The Parish Post, on our website, and in school newsletters is a wonderful way to do so.

Rather than obscuring or excluding faces, we would love to share clear photos of our pupils’ extraordinary talents and accomplishments—with your permission.

To support this, we have updated the consent settings on Arbor. We understand that some parents may prefer not to have their child’s image shared publicly; we completely respect these wishes and want to ensure our records accurately reflect your preferences.

The four consents are:

• Consent to photographs on the school website, parish post and any other school newsletter.
• Consent to class photos
• Consent to internal photographs
• Consent to photographs on social media

Action Required:

Please log in to your Arbor account to review and update your consent settings by Friday, 10th April.

How to do it:

Log onto your child's Arbor profile, open each consent in the "Notices" section and accept or decline - please do not leave it pending.

Y4-6 PARENTS - LETTER FROM SURREY SECONDARY PHASE COUNCIL REGARDING A SMARTPHONE FREE CHILDHOOD

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION TO THE HEAD TEACHER'S AWARD

Dear Parents/Carers,

The next hand in deadline for children to submit their Head Teacher's Award is Friday 20th March. This is for any children submitting the Bronze, Silver or Gold award.

Children are to hand their evidence file to their class teacher, or email the work to their class teacher.

The award celebration assembly will be held on Wednesday 25th March where children will be awarded their certificate and badge.
