CATERPILLARS CLASS - MRS SAUNDERS RESIGNATION ANNOUNCEMENT

Dear Caterpillar parents and carers,

I am writing to share some important news regarding our staff team at Reigate Parish Church Primary School.

After an incredible 9 years at our school, Mrs Saunders has made the decision to resign from her post. This is a significant moment for our school community, and I wanted to ensure you heard about it directly from me.

During her time with us, Mrs Saunders has held a number of key roles, including:

KS1 and KS2 teacher
KS2 phase leader
Organiser of residential trips
Designated Deputy Safeguarding Lead (DDSL)
Supporter for children with behavioural needs
Liaison with parents and carers
Reading leader
ECT mentor
Supportive colleague and excellent teacher

Mrs Saunders dedication to School has made a lasting impact on countless children, families, and staff. She has always gone above and beyond, whether leading learning in the classroom, organising memorable residential trips, or offering thoughtful support to families and staff. The school holds a very special place in her heart and she will be greatly missed by all of us.

Mrs Saunders will continue in her role until the end of term. We will ensure a smooth transition for the children and for staff. In due course, we will be recruiting for her replacement and will keep you updated on these arrangements.
