A huge congratulations to the year 2 children
On Wednesday 5th May, 40 of our year 2 children took part in the Reigate and Redhill Music Festival in the ‘Infant School Category’ competing with to other local schools for The Choral Shield.
After weeks of preparation, Mrs Kelsey and Mrs Jackson had the children tuned and ready to take part in this event and on Wednesday afternoon Reigate Park Church was filled with the harmonious voices of the children who only had 6 minutes to impress the judges with their two well rehearsed songs.
After much deliberation, it was announced the Reigate Parish Church School had won their section of the music festival. The children can feel extremely proud that they have won this award for the second year running, so well done to everyone involved in this superb achievement. We would also like to thank all the parents who came to support the choir.
