We are top of the class
Redhill and Reigate Life has cheered our recent successful Ofsted inspection by naming us "top of the class". Ofsted inspectors have given Reigate Parish Church School a glowing report, praising it as "outstanding in all areas", reported the newspaper. "The voluntary-aided infant school in Blackborough Road, with pupils aged from four to seven, achieved grade one scores for each category judged. The report highlighted the teamwork of headteacher Liz Wombwell, the deputy headteacher and staff, stating they had 'established an ethos in which pupils feel safe, valued and confident enough to contribute wholeheartedly to the school community'."

Referring to teaching staff, the report, published on 8th July 2008, says, "Teaching throughout the school is never less than good, and, usually outstanding. Observations and assessments by teachers of what the pupils know and can do are used exceptionally well. Teachers take great care to match their work to the needs of pupils. Pupils have good, individual, learning targets. The regular meetings in which all staff discuss their planning, the progress of individual children and their interests and advancement, are painstaking and incisive. The very experienced teaching assistants provide excellent support."
In a letter to pupils, lead inspector David Marshall wrote, "I was really impressed by your politeness and excellent behaviour and your enthusiasm in lessons. Well done."
